McCarthy Jelleff
We have been working in live music & events since the mid '80s.
By 1995 our global touring experience had expanded into True North — a London-based production company that quickly established a reputation for excellence in delivering both concert tours and live brand experiences. The Disney Mega Train Tours, the Titanic Official Movie Tour and the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) ran alongside work with Leftfield, Marc Almond, Geri Halliwell, Sparks, and The Prodigy.
The year 2000 saw our move to Melbourne and the establishment of McCarthy Jelleff at which point we immediately launched into producing Australian Music Week and began our long standing association with Australia's finest concert promoters: Michael Chugg Entertainment, Michael Coppel Presents and Modular Touring.
Working for these promoters we have taken care of business for Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Dylan, Cher, Morrisey, The White Stripes, Scissor Sisters, KT Tunstall, Robyn, Newton Faulkner, The Swell Season, Duffy, Pixies, Blind Boys of Alabama, Al Green, Marianne Faithfull, Santana, Erykah Badu, BB King... and many others.
We continue to work directly for artists and productions, most notably: Powderfinger and Silverchair (Across the Great Divide & Sunsets Farewell Tour), The Presets (Australian Tour 2009), George Michael (25 Live stadium tour of Europe), and RocKwiz — the live touring version of Australia's longest running television music quiz show.
Our most recent involvement with branded entertainment is three years for both V Festival Australia (Virgin's multi-day, multi-stage music event) and The Sony Pavilion at the Internationale Funkausstellung in Berlin (the worlds leading trade show for the consumer electronics industry).
Whether producing, working as part of the producing team or simply providing management services, we are flexible in our approach and scale our delivery according to our clients' needs and budget.
